Barkeater Lake Update

Hey folks,

Just thought everyone would like to know what's happening with
Barkeater Lake so far...

First off over 300 books have been pre-sold. The book goes to the
printer tomorrow and will most likely be shipped by the end of the
month at the latest. Even though the 250 signed copies are gone, the
pre-order includes free shipping, which will only be available until
the new www.barkeaterlake.com goes live on the 22nd. A good deal
indeed, so if you 'd still like to pre-order a book:
http://barkeater.blogspot.com is the place to go fo now.

Speaking of the new site, I have a design ready to go and have spoken
with a web guru about doing the back door stuff. We're set for the 22nd
launch. www.barkeaterlake.com is stuck in a screwy loop right now
because United Media has not yet initiated a transfer to my new host,
so until they do, there's not much I can do about the broken link for
now.

Thanks to all of you who have issued words of praise, support and death
threats. And thanks to all who pre-ordered the book. I'm very excited
that the strip will continue.

Cheers!

Corey

i just want to ask, is there any place where i can continue on reading the comic? please?

thanks a lot. and that comic was the best!

Corey,

Congrats on your book being published (yes, I used "congrats" because I can't spell the whole word) It looks like I missed out on one of the signed copies of your book. I'm crushed. In time, an autographed copy may be worth at least 30 or 40 cents more than one without an autograph. I was hoping you might be able to hook up an old friend. I'll even pay 30 or 40 cents more than the regular price. You probably still owe me money anyway. You were quite a mooch back then.

I know what you are thinking. As soon as you get your big break, old "friends" come out of the wood work. But really, we were friends. I'm still int he Air Force but have moved to back to Watertown (I don't know why, its like watching re-runs of Green Acres, hoping they will be funny this time). My mother still lives in Carthage. I'm still better looking and more humble than you. I'm still into Stevie Ray Vaughn.

I'd like to here from you again. You can call my mom if you still have that number or you can look me up at whitepages.com. I couldn't find any contact info for you, so I'll let everyone know I'm too pathetic to find new friends. I look forward to hearing from you and seeing you make good on that money you owe me.

Rob R.
